IMO there are no tricks, Great Stable Water, Good light, good flow, good foods, and you will have a happy anemone:)

Well my water parameters are perfect (even phosphates), and I do water changes every two weeks like clockwork (with DI water, BTW), and I can't seem to get my anemones to live very long.
Is it my lighting? I have 220 PCs on my tank and one 50w actinic ballast that came with the tank.
I feed krill and silverslides about 3 times a week...should I feed something else? Less often? More often?
My corals kick a$$, but my anemones suck.
Here's a pic of my sebae. I just got it. It's beautiful now, and I want to keep it that way.

Yup...no real trick. Plum70art hit it pretty much dead on...I feed mine squid chunks, and supplement a couple of times a week with a liquid invertebrate formula.

what tank size is your tank?? I would say that if you have had good luck with corals, then there is no problem. Also how much are you feeding because overfeeding can also cause problems.

I feed maybe 3 pieces of krill or a couple silverslides about three times a week.
What about the lighting?
The corals I have are doing very well with it.
Besides the anemone, I also have purple umbrella mushrooms, a huge yellow leather, open brain, and scads of ricordia.
Tank is 75E.

Is the anemone actually melting when you said they die? Cause when they crap, they look like crap

Anenomes are often found in lagons, ecspecialy the clown hosters. Thus for they require intinse light and get ready for this water with more nutritns in it, not a supper ton but more that are supper skimed sps tanks. IMO just intinse light an cut bck on the skimming a little.
