Doesn't look like it is walking, looks like it is just lying on it's side. Mine all walk with their foot flush to the sand, rock or whatever they are walking across.
BTW, what is that up against the glass in the left side of your photo.

Carpets look different when they close, but that looks like what its doing. Could be for a couple of different reasons, either it just ate a big meal or its about to expel waste or has expelled waste. They tend to close up for a while in the process of those things.

well i think he did it to get ready to move b/c i left him alone and when i came back an hour later he had his foot set in the sand in the far right of my tank
