Very nice color! Kinda hard to tell what it is though. Did you buy it or did it hitchhike on the rock? Does it open and close or extend polyps? HTH

I bought it today and forgot what he said it was. The color is just amazing and from what I saw at the lfs it spreads nicely. It blooms these blue berry like things i'm told. Cant wait to see them. I'll keep you all informed. Cheers

I cant seem to find anything online for it. What is their lighting requirements. I have it very close to the light in about 4.5 watts per gallon.

they actually dont require lights at all....that is if it is a tunicate.....tunicates are filter feeders....there is one kind of tuni that is photosynth, but it is bluish green in color!

They are tunicates, and it is a type that requires no special lighting. I couldn't find anything online either....strange, but I guess these don't show up much. I had the exact same ones awhile ago....that's why I am fairly sure about what they are.;) I found them to be pretty hardy lasting well over a year with no special attention....I bet if I had actually tried to feed them directly....they would have lasted for a good while. Good luck.
