I was looking up skimmers and this thing popped up,"eco aqualizer" ever heard of it, anybody out there. It seemed like a Pop up on some site. does it work better than a skimmer; seems that it dosen't take out alot of the good stuff that skimmers do remove. But it also seems like an ad for selling real estate with no money to start. You know what I mean? like an info mercial. It sounds to good to be true, to much to pay, and my Father used to say;"If it sounds to good to be true; it probably is."

There are tons of threads on here about it. Some like it, most do not (although the majority of those that don't have honestly never bought or tried one). But you might be interested in some of the old debates in the previous threads.

I would go with your gut on that one. I agree with your father though. I have seen these things taken apart and they are simply pvc pipe with magnets taped to the side. There is some kind of powder wiped on the outside of the pvc pipe also. I don't have one and have never used one, but sounds like a gimmick to me.
