Whats up with my Acan?

I have has this piece for about 2 months and it has laid down a couple more mouths. One of the new ones has a small mark of orange. It is doing this in two spots, both on new mouth sections. Dont mind the picture, it was taken as soon as the actinics came on and things opened up...click for bigger.

i'm not concerned, but this piece has always been kinda bland color wise, but now it has this orange streak in it, i was wondering if it was possible that it was changing colors or what??
It eats like a pig...i am sure it is healthy.

I have quite a few acans and i had one that was very dull and plain looking, after a bit of time it did start getting more colorfull , it beautiful now.
