yesterday my duster popped its feathers off. Which I know happens some times. But what wierds me out is the worm looks like its trying to climb out of its tube! Is that normal when their feathers pop off? Ive never had a fd pop its feathers off before.
My paramaters are great, my sg is 1.024, corals look fine, inverts look good, fish seem happy. The only thing I can think of that may have causes it is that I added a skimmer about 2 weeks ago eventhough my bio load is light cause I only have 3 fish and some corals in a 75gal, but I figure ill need it eventually (had it unplugged for 24 hrs on feeding day). I have unplugged it for now, possibly until I get a couple more fish. I feed my corals and feather dusters oyster feast and I make my own food which has particles small enough that I would assume the fd could eat.
Anyhoo, enough babbleing. Im just curious if when they pop their feathers off if its normal for them to hang outside the tube. Hes out about 1.5" right now
