Whats up with my new bubble coral??

I just got this last week. It has almost doubled in size since I put it in the tank. But I noticed a couple of days ago that it is turning brown on the edges of the base. It hasn't gotten any worse and seemed to pop up like that over night. Should I be concerned? I do have it under metal halide lighting and I know at the store it was under very minimal lighting. Could it just be adjusting? Again, the bubbles have doubled in size from when I bought it!?

Bubble corals are not a real light loving coral as they like to be under overhangs, and in crevisis. I think that that the light may have burned it shell a little but its nothing to worry about i have seen it before and has no real effect on the coral.

the brown is actually protozoan growth on the slime, the protozoans are eating the slime that the coral produces and multiply in numbers high enough to be visible. right now it doesnt look too bad, but some gentle shifting flow may wash away the slime helping to prevent a full blown protozoan infection.

Thanks for the quick replies! It took me a while to find it a spot that it liked and would open up all the way. It doesn't get much flow there.
