Whats Wrong With My Royal Gramma

Lately he hasn't been eating and hes started a very irregular violent turn jerk every couple seconds that he swims. He now hides a lot (he used to be very outgoing) I noticed some lighter colored patches forming on him (they're lighter not white). Whats wrong with him and can I treat it or is he a goner?????

How long have you had this fish? What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, sg, and temp? Have you added anything new to the tank recently? What all is in the tank?

Ive had him for a little more than two months now. All the readings are fine when i did them this past weekend. I added a flame angel about two weeks ago. My guess is could it be from some sort of stress dealing with my flame angel. They dont fight, but the flame chases my pygmy when he gets hungry. Could that be causing it?

White or faded patches are usually from stress. The angel could be chasing him. Royal grammas are territorial and flame angels are bold so that could be an issue. Keep an eye on the situation. If you notice tattered fins on either one then someone may have to leave the tank. It should settle down though. If you see the patches getting worse then let us know. Keep an eye out for ich being that you just added an angel to the tank.
