whats wrong with my sailfin

i dont know what is wrong with him. it started out as ich, thought i treated him but it kept progressing and is now out of control and doesnt even look like ich anymore. his fins are splitting and it looks almost as if hes peeling. i used malachite green to treat him. does anybody know what he has or what i can use to treat him?

Maybe try hypo. I cant really tell whats wrong with him going by the pic.

looks like a reallly bad case of ich. post the pic in the disease forum and ask beth for help. too bad you wasted your money on an ich med.

yea, I was going to say ich myself.
ich doesn't have to be white, it can also appear black as if your fish has specs of dirt on it.
