My tank is pretty new. In case there are any new readers, I have a 125 gallon tank, live rock, live sand. I checked everything today as far as ammonia, ph, all that stuff..everything is great. Friday I put my first batch of critters in! 2 feather dusters, 2 horseshoe crabs, a sally lightfoot, a coral-banded shrimp, 10 turbo snails, 20 blue leg hermits, and 4 emerald crabs. oh and 3 flame scallops. They're all doing great. I'm taking my time with the fish...don't want to kill any. But i'm wondering when i should slowly start adding them and in what order. These are the fish that i'd eventually like to have in my tank. Any suggestions on the order to put them in or if they're a bad idea would really be appreciated! Pyjama cardinalfish, scooter bleeny, long nosed hawkfish, 6 lined wrasse, cleaner wrasse, yellow headed jawfish, fish fish, clownfish and possibly a tang. Thanks a lot!

I would start with either the clownfish or the tang(depending on what type of tang you want in there).

just my $.02, I try to wait at least 1 month between additions. (not saying this is correct, for I'm a beginner also)

The tang wouldn't be more territorial being the first one in there??????? was just a thought, i'm sure i'm wrong.

Add one fish at a time and then check the levels to see if it affected the bio load, if not then keep adding one at a time always checking the levels a few days after the addtion. Also, the general rule is 1 inch pre 5 gallons, the length being that of the fish at maturity not when you buy it.

Yes the tang is very territorial, however most fish will setup a territory being the first one in, just add the smaller fish first so the bigger ones can just "take" the territory they need, I agree clowns are good to start with. Do research on the fish before you buy it to make sure they are all friendly with eachother!
