When can I add zoos?

what size is your tank and how old is it?

I've heard people say they can go in right away, but my advice would be to wait at least 60 days from when you filled it and started the cycle.

the tank is a 29 hex. i bought it last January. There is actually no life on the rocks so i guess you can say it is dead. i have never kept anything in the tank besides 2 damsels. otherwise the tank just sits with a filter. I also did frequent water changes, theres just no life on the rocks.

It's been up and running since Jan? If so you are fine, although it sound like you haven't done much without so you should check your water params and make sure things are in line first.

Corals will need flow too and Hex's can be hard to get decent flow patterns in, but make sure you have at least one powerhead to get the water moving.

i have 2 #1 koralias, aqua clear 30 , and a 280-320gph protien skimmer pump..everything was fine with my water conditions. I checked them about 2 days ago. I just added some more turbos and blue leggers. I also just bought more sand, so do I have to wait? if so how long should I wait till after I put the sand and new live rocks in before I add the zoos?

you may want to add a single piece at a time until you are sure it will work corals work best as a slow and steady kind of thing!
