did you cycle the tank first or are you just starting it?
i cant give you an answer on the hippo till you say what size tank you have.

Yes, I cycled the tank for 3 weeks, then added fish. I have a 55 gal tank. Both clowns are about 1 1/2 inch. They are healthy, the look great and swimg well.

i think if you got one really small blue hippo you might be able to keep it for a year or 2 in that tank. IMO i think a 55 is a bit small for any tang. is this going to be a reef or a fish only tank?

This is going to be fish only. I am only planning on adding 1 or 2 more fishes. Among them, a hippo.. else.. I will look into the Dwarf angels. I don't know.

dwarf angels would be a much better choice for your tank. tangs can be pretty delicate fish sometimes and dont do well in cramped conditions. from what ive read you should only have 1 angel in the tank or they are prone to killing each other. blennies aren't the prettiest fish, but they make up for it in personality. go slow when adding fish, you cant keep many fish in the tank, and alot of people rush to fill up the tank and then have no room for the fish they really want.
