When Do You Put Your X-mas Tree Up?

I am a Holiday addict!!! Lights already on the ceiling to floor windows in my living room , tree maybe next week! Every year it goes up earlier........

I put the lights up as soon after Thanksgiving as weather permits.
The tree is a different story. I try to pick a time when it is really cold so the tree is freshist. I usually get one by the first weekend in December.

+1....why no tree??? death in the family?? ( I hope not) even if there was a tragedy in my family , and there have been plenty! , I would never not put up a tree. JMO but it seems better to celebrate a holiday after a death , it is like a tribute to that person

First weekend after Thanksgiving.Man this month is flying by.

Tomorrow the boxes come out , all the mini decorations will go up over the next few days. Lights on all the windows , last year I bought a little glue gun and used that to stick them on the windows. Works GREAT!! and keeps them straight. Then you just use a razor to pry the glue off

NO mess , and its kinda fun
Tree will be up on Monday can't wait , I bought it last year at a after x-mas sale. Got a crazy good deal....hope it don't look like a Charlie Brown tree LOL

because as of next wed, we are houseless.. no place to put a tree.

We get our tree the first weekend in December. Go out to the tree farm and cut it ourselves.
