When is the best time of day to test your water?

When is the best time of the day to test your water for Mg.,Ca.,KH, and Ph levels to maintain tank stability and get "true" readings?

I test at night, usually between 8 - 10, but just because that's when it's convenient for me. I do however, always test at this time. That way the conditions are the same. HTH

I always test around 3pm after the lights have been running . I guess it's more routine then science ...

Any Sharks out there have any input? I had always heard like Labowski...not at night because of the PH, however like the others sometime I only have time after work, dinner and kids are put to bed to test.

All water parameters remain the same during the day (24 hours), except PH. PH is higher during the day because your lights are on and low at night, in the second part of it. You can check your PH at night also, to see how low it is.
