Now. I have found that the fluval phosphate remover is ineffective. You would be better served by getting a phosphate reactor or using chemi-pure elite. Now, the best course of action would be to find the source of the phosphate and to eliminate it that way. What type of water are using? What are you feeding? Do you have a refugium? Macroalgae really helps to consume phosphate.

I was using tap.. but i witch to spring water
I just need to get it removed right away b.c it was pretty high(killing my corals). and for the food i have three different kinds some chips, this pasty looking stuff and some good pellets. refugium? Macroalgae ? and i had some of the phoshate remover in my filter couple days ago and i left it in for (maybe for 3 or 4 days) i tested it today and it was high again( i've been testing dayly)

The source of your phosphates are the tap water and the food. If you can get a RO/DI unit, this will make the tap water safe for the tank. I use distilled water for my tank (more expensive but it is what works for me and I am willing to spend the $). I would recommend only feeding frozen food that has been rinsed with water in a brine shrimp net to get the gunk out.
A refugium is a place that can house macroalgae. Sometimes they are built into sumps and some people will modify HOB filters to house their macroalgae.
Macroalgaes are plants that can be used in our tanks to consume excess nutrients (including phosphate and nitrate).

I only been using the spring water for a week or so now though..i was interested in the plants that i can get, but i just haven't gotten into it yet.. so about when i should remove the phoshate remover on like 2 days? or whats your experience with it?

Do you have a sump setup? Are you good at DIY? How often do you do water changes? What kind of substrate are you using? How much live rock do you have in your tank? How big is your tank and what is your stock list?

yeah it doesn't say when to remove it but, all the phoshates ended up back in my tank some how so idk when to take it out.. i'm thinking about today after i test it again..
I have two aqua clear filters( there the two biggest ones you can get) one of them has the carbon and the other has some stuff that suppose to hold good bactiea.. I got it from ***** it was like 15$
DIY? substrate ?
I change my water maybe every 2 weeks or when ever i notice it looking not as nice as normal.. as said before i just started to use spring water that my dad gets.. it actully comes from a spring..
i have a bunch of of live rock maybe close to 100 pounds.. i have it all arranged in the back
and for the live stock i dont have much.. yellow tank, mandrin dragan sorry of the spelling, two cardinals, a goby, star fish and snails and i have a 55.. i know thats not the best for the tang but, it is what it is. also i have mushrooms and some polpys that arent going good at all b.c of my phoshate problem. and finaly my tang and scatch marks on it so i'm trying to figure that out as well.. sounds like a bunch of stuff.. thanks guys for helping me out
