When to add Clean Up Crew

So I got my LR & LS and my amonia is beginning to rise and my cycle is starting. My question is when do I add a cleanup crew? After the cycle, during the cycle or right away?

Actually, I don't really know when it is the best time to add the clean up crew. But I added mine a couple days into the cycle and all of them survived except one snail who got eaten by a hermit crab.

Most people will say right after the cycle. I added mine when I thought the cycle was almost over, nitrites were on their way down. Everything lived expect for a couple of snails. It's really up to you, but to be safe wait till after the cycle. Remember the old saying, "Do as I say, not as I do" it might be appropriate in this case.

I beleive that the clean up crew will make it through the cycle. But it is up to you, you could wait. I have done it both ways. Good Luck
