when to change carbon?

i have a 60 gal acrylic tank with wet dry system. how often should i change the carbon????

I think you should change it every few weeks. Do you use carbon all the time?

I would not run carbon all of the time it removes too many benificial things from the water. I only run carbon about every 3 months for 3-4 days just to clear the water alittle.
