You are supposed to change them out once a year. You dont change them and then continue to run your normal time. If you change them all at once, cut your time they are on back a few hours as the new bulbs will be at full spectrum and can bleach your coral. Every week add an hour till you have it back at the regular time. If you change one at at time, replace them at a 2 week interval.
