you NEED to change that sediment filter about 1000 gallons ago. your DI dosent look good at all ether. If your carbon and tfc membrane are as old as your sed filter its time to change it all

Agree, I change my DI cartridge(the last filter cartridge) when I see a reading of 1 or 2.

only only for top-off for evaporation of my 200-gal tank.
I will change all 3 filters. Should I change the one that is horizontally (top of the ro)?

yes they need to be changed. you should change them about every 6 to 12 months depending on your tds and how dirty they look.

17 is bad. the problem with having a ro/DI (DI hurts) is that your going to have to change the di (the last one) ALOT with 200 ppm coming in.(i change it every 2 weeks 1,000 gal. ) i get the media in 5 gal for cheap, and fill my own or i would not run di. most poeple change it so di is a normal carbon or .5micron.

You can use carbon as your DI? That does not make sense if it's right because the three filters before the R/O membrane are carbon. So why have DI if you can use carbon. But if it works then yeah!!!!!
