I added 10 Astrea Snails and 10 Blue Legs Hermit crabs a week on Thursday. Well I can still count my 10 snails but, I can only see about half of my hermit crabs. Where did they go? I can see some of them in little holes in my rock, I guess there sleeping but, the some of them are missing.
I have places in my tank where they can hide, but I have scoped out almost all of them. Maybe there dead under the rocks? Maybe my snails ate them? I bought them for about a dollar a piece but, I don't want them to die. The others that I see seem full of life and happy. So what do you all think?
Also I see some of my snails laying on the sand bed in the morning on there backs. I always turn them over and they get back to eating. Why are they falling off, are they weak.
Also my water quality is good and my nitrates are at zero or barely above, so they shouldn't be weak.
