Where did my cleaner shrimp go?

I bought a cleaner shrimp about 5 days ago. I put it in my tank and it dissappeared instantly. It has been 5 days and I still havent seen it yet. I have looked every where very hard and cant find it.

They like to hide at first. Usually he will be behind the rocks or undereath them swaying back and forth. If you see him put some fish flakes between your thumb and index finger and try to feed him by hand, he might even thank you by cleaning your hand. It's no joke mine will eat right out of my hand and clean it!
Look for him at night when the lights are off.

The same thign happened to my freind. When he got the shrimp it hid up behind the powerhead for a few days. Unfortunately, he just recently was eaten by a hawkfish

Be sure to check when he thinks your not looking. Try after lights out!!
