Heck, at least he and I give activity to the boards while you sit back and insult people every chance you get.
That's all I'm going to say.

hijack time.
I used to go advice regularly. then a huge flux of individuals came to this site. see i have been here since atleast 2003. i still play an online game with one of the original moderators of this forum that also happens to own a pet/aquarium store in california. this new group of "experts" took over with their hitler advice. suddennly everything i have been doing for years was wrong. Primarily in the seahorse realm. so I stepped out of the advise giving aspect. After all what do I know? I mean it is impossible to house seahorses, tangs, clownfish, gobies, wrasse, serpent stars, choco stars and corals in one tank for more than 5 years. so I must be an idiot. so I sit back and let everyone conform to what i term "standard" aquariums and do nothing outside the norm. you asked to see new builds, you what to see cool set ups...but anything out of the norm on this forum is ridiculed. 75% of my aquariums i have done...according to the "new experts" cant be done and should not be done. and you guys want my advice? why?
so I hang out here..i look outside this forum...but i rarely comment. when i do read some of threads..i roll my eyes.
I dont contribute? not to toot my own horn......but when was the last time any thread you started reached past 4 pages? when was the last discussion you were involved in that had over 3000 views? you may not like me...i care not...but at the end of the day....i do keep the aquarium semi interesting. many even laugh.
now on to my postings. a wise man once told me, no matter how you type something on the internet..it will never reflect tone. and tone is a huge means of communication. therefore when reading internet postings we inflect the tone we desire to envision. so my postings and comments arent the problem. how you read them is.....thus further proving the poblem isnt myself, but rather the individual reading them and to a further extent, yourself.

OOOOOOOO.......................this could get to be an interesting thread.
I for one like the unorthodox methods of others and their successes and failures. It is good to see people working things outside of the norm. I wish that you would post some of the things you have done in the past with your systems.

Wow darth, that's the longest comment I've seen you type in years. Who knew one sentance could get you to do that?
I go outside the norm on many things for my personal tank, but I think the reason why many people stick to standards is because it's considered "safe" and people just aren't wanting to take much of a "risk". I stick to standards with fish advice for liability reasons. If I say "your good" and then they go and do it and it kills their other fish or vice versa, I don't want them coming back to me and blaming me for it. In a way, I am also playing it safe.
Darth, your ok in my book. I do not have anything against you at all. In fact, I think most of your insulting comments are hilarious and I know I have busted out laughing on more than one occasion.
