Where did you get your LR. Was it any good?

Hi just wondering where people got there rock and how much they got for how much they payed. how they liked it or even where soemone got rock they didn't find to be up to what was said on a website or LFS
i've seen on this site they have 45-50 for 200 with no shipping
anyone know anywhere cheaper or know where they have really excellent rock?
the cheapest i can find around here is pretty much 6 dollars a lb and i called everyone in my phone book
thanks would be interested to hear where you got your rock and what you payed

Have bought from lfs and online auction- the stuff from the lfs was very nice, but almost 7 dollars a lbs. i should be getting mine from auction this week, i'll let you know how it is. it was 4.10 a lb shipped.

Only thing we can tell you is how mutch it cost. We arent allowed to post links on this site sorry. 6 per lb isnt bad around here it is 7 per lb I may be getting some soon. I got some from a friend on a diffrent site "around 6 lbs" for free.

I got a good deal on a online auction. search for rock in your area,you can save on shipping. I got 80 lbs of nice fiji for $150.00.
then i ordered 120lbs of base rock(deadrock) from hawai for $170 shipped. thats 200 lbs for $320.00. you don't have to pay $7.00 a pound for rock. By the way, my lfs charges $7.99 a pound for fiji. they must be on the pipe or something.
By the way that 200 is in a 90 gal.
