Where do the come from?

Hey Gang,
My tank is up and running... but not mature yet. The question i have right now is that where is my fish come? I live in Los Angeles California. Are all the Marine fish imported? If yes, are they caught from the ocean or a farm. Or if there is any local marine fish farm. In search of knowedge....

They are cought in the ocean and imported. There are some fish that can be bred in captive care such as certain types of clownfish, but for the most part all of the fish that you buy are coming from the ocean.
