I was at my grocery store the other day and noticed a basket full of all natural Nori AKA Sushi Seaweed for the Sushi bar.
I did not even realize they had it there so I was pretty excited to pick up a huge pack of it for only $1.50 !!!!!! It even smells more 'ocean' then the pet store kind and the fish ate the fire out of it.

Has to be a Walmart Supercenter (the one with the grocery side). Then it's in the 'ethnic food' aisle (aisle 4 here). There should be a small Asian section (separate from the Ramen noodles), and it's on the top shelf. If I have it here in Alabama, you should have it there in Oklahoma
.
What's funny though is the package is very Asian, and has either Chinese or Japanese characters on it. So the cashiers always look at the package weird, then at me (big white guy) then back at the package.
Enter your ZIP and see if they have it near you

I get mine from a Sushi bar right down the road. Man I love living in NY sometimes.
Sorry BTL, but it would take a whole lot more than easy nori to get me to NY I'm talking greater NYC). By the time you added taxes, a $2 package would come to about 8 bucks; then you'd get mugged on the way home. Seriously; its a city everyone should be a little familiar with, my oldest daughter will be relocating there in about a year.
On the subject; nori is very easy to find, even in the boonies. Any Chinese/ Japanese restaurant will get it for you. Easy to find the pure & cheap stuff on-line too.

You're right, its another planet; I have several friends there that would never leave. But the taxes are tempting them.

Online oriental food markets like asian grocer.com or others - I go thru almost 120 - 150 sheets per year. In bigger cities any oriental market. Whenever I goto Dallas to visit friends, I'll stop in an asian market and pick up 10 or 20 packs.
