Where is your aquarium located in your house?
Mine is in my home office (spare bedroom). I once had it in my living room but the noise was just too much.

The 55 and 30gal reef is in my living room. I had a 30 and 29gal freshwater tank in my bedroom that I took down. I am going to turn the 29gal tank into some sort of set up. I am not sure yet. It will not be a reef because of $$$. I thought about a eel maybe.. he will outgrow it though. but I am not sure yet. any ideas as to what it should be ?

My three sw tanks are in the kitchen...I have a FW tank in the living room. I'm getting another tank (55 gallon) that I will be putting in the kitchen also. That is the only room in the house that the floor is even and I have room enough. I live in a 60 year old farm house and the floors are all uneven, accept the kitchen we added a room to it and floor is sound. The living room is not too bad uneven but with the size I'm better off in the kitchen. I'll be sticking an air conditioner in there for the summer, it gets a little hot.

My 55 gallon is in the bar between the kitchen and livingroom.
Fits in there perfect.
The bar is 52" x 18" and the tank is 48" x 12".

We have an open floor plan kitchen, dining room and living room all kind of open except for a small wall dviding the kitchen view from the living room. Well the tank is between the two windows on the outside wall of the living room. This way we can see the tank while we eat at the dining room table or pretty much anywhere in the "living area". It's also the first thing you notice when you come in off the deck or up stairs from the family room. Many compliments from visitors!
