Where should I feed my skimmer from?

Just wondering where I should feed my skimmer from, the overflow, the ist chamber of my sump/fuge, or the last chamber of my sump/fuge. Also where should I return the water from the skimmer? Should it go to the main tank return, 1st chamber of sump/fuge or last chambet of sump/fuge?

I always prefer to let the critters and macros in the refugium get to the organics first then let the skimmer pull out last. I would feed and drain your skimmer in the last chamber, again to give the macros use of any CO2 that might make it down to them instead of the O2 rich drain from the Skimmer. Just my personal preference though.

From a water chemistry perspective - I don't think it matters all that much where you place your skimmer in a closed loop system.
From an aesthetics point of view - place it anywhere the skimmer bubbles will not enter the return pump/display tank.
