where to buy lights

i'm totally confused about whether I should buy lights on the internet or at this store in town. are internet companies trustworthy? because the prices are great. Im not even sure which brand or type of light is good. I want to start a reef in my 35 gal. hex tank.
always had fish only up to now. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of lighting do you want??

i havent' decided on pc or metal halide, i just know i want strong light. some people say you don't know what your getting but im not sure about that. Do you know a reputable company to order from????? thanks for you help.

Hexagons are relatively deep tanks, maybe a MH would be good on those. Most on-line stores are pretty reliable when it comes to dry goods. I get mine at Marine Depot. They have pretty good selections.
