where to get equipment: Salinity, PH, SG, Nitrates, nitrites, etc..

Hey I was wondering what types of equipment do you guys use to check your salinity, SG, PH and all those other levels. Where did you get them. I'm basically looking to get good values (good products yet not too expensive.) There are a few Salinity monitors on ----, but I'm not sure which companies make a good product. I got one before and it was crap, i threw it away.
A few online links would be good. If you can't post links here them just give me the reputable company names. I live in a small town and the only LFS in town rips everyone off with amusement park prices.

I have the refractometer from this site as well good unit good price also the entire brand of sailfert test kits are great as well, very accurate

how do you guys feel about digital PH meters. Are they more or less accurate then using a test kit? Also is there any accurate digital machines that can be bought relatively inexpensively to test your nitrites, nitrates, etc..
