Hi everyone!! I am looking for some advice from the masses on a dilemma I am facing with my tank.
This is my second try at SWF and feel I was progressing well. But I am now stuck. I am not sure what to do next. I feel my tank is very boring with very little color. It just looks drab to me.
Here is what I am working with. A 30gal cube that is a little over a year old. I have a firefish, blue cromis, at least 10 blue legged hermit crabs, a scarlet hermit, 3 turbo snails, an arrow crab, camelback shrimp, feather duster, 30 lbs of live sand and about 35 to 40 lbs of live rock. I am running a CPR BakPak PS and a HOT Magnum that I run carbon in once a month, the rest of the time it runs empty for circulation. I have two Aqua-Clear PH in the tank as well. My lights are 96 watts Coralife PC. My parameters are good except for high calcium and the phosphates are at 1.0 ppm.
Where do you all think I should do from here? I want to upgrade to some lower light corals but have read hundreds of posts and still am not sure what to start with. Any help would be appreciated.
