where to place my feather duster

ok i just purchased a hawaiin feather duster and im not sure where to place it...is there better places than others?....should i place it on a rock?..on the sand?..HELP.

I would carefully wedge it between a couple of rocks being very careful not to squish it. It should attach after a while. They like some current and feed from the water column. Not too much current though, so don't place it too close to a powerhead path. My opinion.

thanx alot...i wasnt sure if it was suposed to be in the sand or on a rock..thanx for the help..oh yea..does it feed on plankton?

Do you use DT's phytoplankton or something similiar? The most I ever do is use a turkey baster to gently blow some diluted DT's on the feathers once a week.
