ok so me and my family are planning a trip for when i gradutate highschool. I want to dive with sharks and stingrays. I know there is a place that will let you, just dont know it. So what do you reccomend?

possibly great white shark :thinking: I saw some guy swim with them and they didn't touch him....

You should definitely get certified to dive and get a couple under your belt first. Many places have diving with reef sharks... bahamas for one. As far as great whites, the only way to dive with them is in a cage. The only places I know that offer great white cage diving is Northern California or South Africa.

So many options for good diving, part of the decision will have to be distance and price. Probably the world's best diving would be either Australia (Great Barrier Reef) or Israel (Red Sea). Those are a little extravagent. Bahamas is OK but I've heard that Belize or Cayman Islands are excellent. Bermuda is great... very clear water and lots of wrecks.

Diving with any sharks isnt for a first timer...or someone who's been less than a few times. I have over 1000 hours diving and still dont consider myself an advanced diver.

I was certified by NAUI. Where in the gulf? About 20 miles out from sarasota, fl. So i see you free dived with whites, i would really love to do that some day, didn't i tell you you dont need a cage :thinking:
