My mom calls today and says that one of her two clowns she has in her 8g biocube is just gone.
So I go oever there after work, tear all the live rock out and nothing. Its an enclosed tank with a grated overflow.
I took all the bio balls out and there he was on the very bottom all bunched up in the corner.
I thought he was dead till I grabbed him to scoop him out and he started flopping around.
somehow he jumped the lip that seperates the fuge area from the main tank and then squirmmed around until he went all the way to the bottom of a tightly packed chamber of bio balls.
Lucky I found him.
Now i just hope I didn't stir up the sand too much moving all the rocks around and stuff.
Did a good sized water change while I had all the stuff suspended int he water, so hopefully that helps.

My stupid yasha did this to me in my 14G BioCube a few times, It's tough to get them out of those back chambers! Why do fish have to be so stupid?!? Then my starry blenny did it when I wasn't home and got chopped up in the return filter and nuked my tank. Definitely put some mesh over the back, mine doesn't go without it now.

so with the mesh if he jumps up there he just flops around and hopefully flops back down to the water? or do you angle it somehow?
