which algae or whatever the green stuff is do u put in your fuge to suck up trates... checked them today almost 50 ppm. i got a good hunk of chateo in there but should i add some of the other algae also i got a 65 watt dual atinic and 10 k blubl over my fuge maybe i need to add some more live rock???? just curious my zoos haven't opened in awhile and i think it is from the high trates...

cheato or culpera with calupera youll have to watch it so it doesnt go sexual and release everything back into the tank,.

like i said i already have chateo.... maybe i need more lr in there to help soak up some of thr trates????
missed you have the cheato but adding more live rock wont decrease the Nitrates!! water changes will though. but yeah high nitrates can cause corals to not open up.
