Shall i get a Regal Damsel (yellow back/blue)
a yellow tail blue damsel
or a blue/green chromis
i want something bright and blue. but also as peaceful as possible...
I know chromis are the most peaceful. But they're not as colourful.
Also would a yellow/pink gramma be ok with a purple firefish?

Yeah ive seen those on the net. But my LFS's never seem to get em in....
They get the blue devil damsels, but they're a bit too evil for my tank, lol.
Thats why im limited to those 3 choices, lol.
Yippee, thanks about the help with the gramma thing :D I didnt know if cos the grammas and firefish look kinda similar, if the gramma would go mad (i know they usually hate each other, lol)

IMO dont get a damsel, they cause much more problems than their worth. I had 2 yellowtails...they attacked everything so i bagged them up and off to the LFS they went.
If your limited by your LFS, you can always order fish online. I havent yet, but what ive heard is that SWF.com supplys great fish.

I know, it sucks... If YOU had to chose out of those 3 though (if my LFS's dont do orders) then which 1?
Im kinda going towards the Regal Damsel (they're bloody gorgeous) But i think they're semi-agressive :(

actually i have seen some blue devil damsels not be very territorial at all, matter of fact the worst ones in my experience have been 3 stripes.. those are some mean

...i had a couple blue devils, and they didnt ever get mad at anyone nor show any signs of aggression. i dont know much about regal damsels... but i imagine the same story as most others....

!! but the gramma will hold its own, the firefish may get stressed but the gramma wont put up with it..

Isn't the major difference between a blue devilfish and a blue chromis the chromis has black edging on its fins and tail while the devil has black lines radiating from its eyes about 2/3rds up its body width?

Differernce not counting personality or agressiveness, just in looks is what I was referring to.
