i have 25 gallon with a magnum 220 for a filter. i only 2 blue damsels and a starfish. i just got a 55 gallon with an emperor 280 and an old whisper filter. somebody told me the emperor 280 wouldnt be big enough for the 55 and the magnum 220 would be. would it be a good idea to switch the filters on two tanks? and how long should i use the bio bags?
