Which Filter?

I have a 55 with 75 lbs of lr. I had bought a Magnum pro 350 about a month ago and it wont pump water anymore. I am going to get a store credit from Dsfostersmith and was wondering what filter you guys think is the best. I run a skimmer and a aqua-clear 300 currently, is this enough or should I still get another filter. I mainly used the 350 for polishing but now that it has no more flow it is worthless to me.

As far as biological, your fine with the live rock. But, for cleaning the water mechanicaly, the 350 should do the job well. Sucks that your quit.

If it's flow has gone down, did you try a new micron cartridge? Or bleach the old one? These get clogged very easily. It will still run but flow will be cut back drastically. Try running it without the cartridge inside. If you get flow, that means you need a new cartridge...if still no flow, maybe the impeller or motor has gone bad.

I think you have enough filtration with the aqua-clear and your lr.
