Which Glue?

Could someone please tell me what is the best glue for adhearing corals to LR...say green and orange rics and zoos :thinking:

someone mentioned that super glue gel was ok to use? this just sounds odd, but is it ok?

Thank you for the info. I am getting 2 orders in from this site and they should be here tomorrow or the next day and I do not have time to order on line so I am looking for something I can pick up quick.
I did a search and everyone talks about Loctite Superglue Gel but I looked it up and there are so many types of it. Does any one have a pic of the product so I know what kind to get. Thanks

Yep, it's fine. I use super glue gel for all my frags. Make sure it is the gel though, regular super glue will not glue anything in saltwater.

I looked Loctite up on line just now and there are so many different kinds. Is this the one?

Nope, that is just super glue, not the super glue gel. I'll post a pic of each in a second.

The gel works under wet conditions and won't cause any chemical problems? I think the stuff is made with cyanoacrilate (sp) just sounds like bad stuff, but if people are using it and have no problems then I guess I could give it a small try.....Will it work on Zoo's?

Hey Can that glue be used to keep lr together, my setup is almost perfect, but i noticed that they are loose, do i take them out and glue them or can I do it in the tank, that might be a dumb ?

I actually took a drill to my LR using a concrete bit then used a fuzzy pipe cleaner to cleanout the hole of all debris or any possible metal then used black zip ties to hold it together, made really trick shelves and ledges to place stuff that kinda stickout over some of the other LR. Nice thing about this is it gave me shaded areas for future corals that don't reguire strong light (sun corals?)

Some people glue things underwater in their tank but I have never had luck with this. I have to take the rock out and dry it a little to get the frags to stick.

See above your post....holdfast is all I ever use, since it is workable underwater. I could never figure out why people would want to take things out of the tank to glue them together.
Actually going to LFS this lunch to get a tube to place sme frags, and my torch coral is finally ready to be stuck where I see it is doing well permanently.
