Which Light?

I just bought a 32 gal long tank, and I want to get a fixture with the most light possible without having to add a chiller. What kind of fixture should I be shopping for? I want to keep sps and clams, with the clams on the sand bed. The tank is 16 inches deep.
Thanks for any advice!

For clams and SPSs you'll need a metal halide, a single bulb pendant will be good for a tank that size. But MHs generate lots of heat. Try putting fans between the light and the water surface. You can also try T5s - as many bulbs as a fixture for that size tank will allow and see what the total wattage is.

i have DE 250w MH pendant over my 30g long. with a fan blowing directly over the tank, it doesnt go over 79 degrees. the tank is upstairs in my room, basically an attic so it gets really hot up there. the tank reaches 86 without the fan.
