okay heres the question, if i were to build a canopy that took 4-48" lights which would you put in 2 daylight and 2 blue or 4- 50/50s? just would like to know? still don't fully understand this light thing. someone said work light from walmart flourecent full spectrum, i saw this light $25.00 bucks cheap lighting if it would work. <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" />

I'd go with (2) actinic and (2) 10,000K bulbs if you want to keep any easy inverts.
If fish only - doesn't really matter.
But I'd build the canopy to allow for invert lighting should you decide to go that route someday.
