I am going to order a PFO pendant w/175watt SE mh with 2 32 watt pcs great hood!. For 200 i get the hood and the pc ballast. I need to get a MH ballast. Should i get a standart electroinc or a HQI. Its going on a 20L tank tanks.
WHich MH ballast to get?

Standard or electronic is referring to the ballast. Regarding that... its best to choose electronic.
HQI is a type of bulb. It may have less options than standard bulbs, but it has quite a few benefits. I use them.

Thanks i decided to go all out with a 175 watt 10k XM with 2 32 watt actnic pcs. CLam and SPS

Have you ordered it yet? I've heard alot of people were switching back from the xm's.

Well i actually ordered the fixture and the ballasts. I am going to get the bulbs from my freind at the LFS. I was going to get a 10k XM and 2 true 03s. What did you hear about people switching back? After sombody mad a thread showing there par and there color i was set on them pretty much.

maybe you mean people are switching from the 20Ks to the 10Ks right???
