Which MH Bulb - if at all.

I have a 55 gal that I want to keep hard and soft corals in. I think I will have two 40W Actinics and two 175W MH.
Which bulb is considered the best for this setup?
Would two 110W VHO's actinic's and two 175W MH be too much?
Can I get the job done with VHO's only - 2 pairs. Actinic and full spectrum.
Should the florecent bulbs be closer to the water than the MH? Or is 10" OK for all of them?

1. I would say to use the Ushio 10K 175 watt bulbs.
2. Not too much light.
3. You could also use just 4 X 110W VHO, but you may limit yourself from getting some species of SPS and clams.
4. I would run VHO's about 6-8" from the water, but I also run my MH's the same.
