I have a flame cardinal and was led to believe that they were peaceful fish. Well if they are mine is far from the norm. Not only does he rule the roost but he has eaten four fish!!! Two of the fish i wasnt sure of their identity but he also ate a small blue headed damsel and my pearly jawfish. And i just cant get him out of my reef.
So what kind of fish do you have causing grief in your tanks??? And please if its about damsels, save it, the boards have enough "damsels suck" threads.

I was intially looking at having an aggressive tank, but now I'm having reservations. I like watching the few inverts I have (EC, a few hermits, variety of snails), and the things they do to keep the tank clean. A buddy duped me in to taking his spotted puffer, and of course he's trying to take out all the inverts I have. So far, the cerinth snails are buried. He nips at the larger snails, and tries to abuse the EC. Imagine it's a matter of time before he takes all of them out. I want to get a starfish, some urchins, maybe a cucumber, but with him in there, that won't happen. I'm thinking of trying to get my LFS to do a trade for a Coral Beauty or Marron Clown, something that won't bother inverts.

give the puffer some clams out of your local food store. he should chip at them for a while. and the beak should be nice and sharp after :)
my coral beauty and my kole surgeon give me the most greif. they are the biggest food hogs, and own the fish tank.

I have a tomato clown that hosts a big frogspawn in my tank. I think it's really cool, but whenever I stick my hand in the tank I get attacked. Never hurts or anything, but it sure is annoying.
