Should I get the 30" moonlighting with 2x 56watt bulbs and 2x moonlights. Or should i get the 36"moonlighting with 2x 96watt bulbds and 3x moonlights and let it hang over about 6". My refuge is right next to me tank also. So that six inches would light the refuge up more too.
Plz help!

I would go with the proper size for the tank. The hang over is just wasted light in my opinion. Also, if you get the larger one, you won't be able to use the feet supplied to raise it off the top of the tank.

In my opinion the PC lighting is better because it gives off less heat. That is pretty important in a small tank. At least that was the advice given to me, and I have been pretty happy with it. I would post some pics for you guys to see, but my fish tank is away from me for a couple of weeks.
i had to take it home for the summer, and i am stuck in school waiting for finals to finish up.
