which protein skimmer

I have a 75 gal. which protein skimmer do you recommend a seaclone 100 or a cpr bak-pak 2r

neither. The cpr is an excellent skimmer for 55 gallon and smaller. I totally recommend the cpr over the seaclone. I would look at an Aquac remora or a Turbofloater for a 75, IMO. I'm sure others will advise you as to other options.

Have you had any experience with a red sea prizm?

I have the Remora Aqua C and am very happy with it, it also runs very quiet which is important to me since my tank is in the living room. I reccomend it.

For that size tank, I would go with TurboFloater, or LifeReef HVS2-24.

Red Sea Prizm would be too small, even though its rated for up to 100 gallons... you might however try the Prizm Pro, which i hear does up to 110 fairly well, but at around 200 bucks, I'd look into an AquaC.

I have a 55 gallon and returned the Prizm after 2 weeks...hated it. Spent the money and went with a sump and the Turboflotor 1000...AWESOME!
