which Pump

I have recently bought a 120 gallon tank, i am gonna get the wet/dry 175 to be safe with the filtration (anyone think differently) I wanted to know which pump to get I have heard a couple of different opinions the rio 3100, the cap5000, then someone said that the cap5000 would take too much water so they said get the cap3000?????? help

Stay away from the RIO's...They are prone to problems,,,and as your main return,problems are NOT what you need...As for the CAP's,,Just double check the flow rate,and head (hight the water will be pumped) and make sure the pump is less than the overflow...Personally,I like the QUIET ONE,by Rainbow/lifeguard.It has seved me well.This thing has run dry twice now,and still keeps pumping.And also(as the name states) is still absolutly silent...It pumps around 800gph(counting my head,and plumbing).
