which pump?

I will be running a mag 9.5 as the return on my 125 and want to do a closed loop. I will have between 1 foot to 1 1/2 feet of head with a distance of 6 feet across the tank by 2. Will run a scwd and have two sets of pvc pipes running along the bottom of the canopy on opposite sided of the tank. Each will have two return slots. I want to have good current so I do not have to put any other power heads in. This will be a FOWLR tank. Also what is a recommended skimmer for a fowlr tank this size. I've been looking at the Nautilus EX 24 and the ASM G-2 or ASM G-3.

For all that...it doesnt seem like one 9.5 would be enough...

let me clarify... the mag 9.5 will run the return from the sump. I'm looking for a pump to run a seperate close loop on the tank to run what i explained above.

That works...try a Mag 7...or even a 2nd 9.5

I run a mak4 pump 1190gph going to 2 sea swirls on my closed loop. I had to cut it back some. If you are useing a scwd I would say about 1200gph then you can allways cut it back in the begining and slowly throttle it back up so you do not get a sand storm
