which salt mix to use

I use Red Sea Coral Pro Salt, calcium stays up and the alk is always consistent, does not dissolve really fast but I mix my water for 24 hours before doing a water change so it doesnt bother me, I think it is a great salt.

if your fish only instant ocean is fine if you want coral lots of others give elivated minerals that a reef needs

i use oceanic as well. i don't need to add anything extra to the water and everything is pretty happy.
tropic marin pro is supposed to be an excellent salt, but it's very pricey.

I use Tropic Marine "Marine Mix" and have been having problems keeping my Mg above 1100 without adding supplemental Mg. I don't know if the salt was old or what, because i have never had problems with it before!!
I might have to switch over to Mortons!!
