Which skimmer for me??

How much do you want to spend? Prizms have a bad rep, but they work great (for the price) for me and a lot of other people. SeaClones, I've heard are getting better, plus there is a mod out there that can make these perform better. Myself, I would go for an AquaC Remora, when the prizm dies on the 29 gallon in the living room, that's what will replace it. HTH

I have both a seaclone and a prizm. I beleive the seaclone does just as good a job, and requires less tinkering to get it set. I had to completely take apart my prizm to clean it this last weekend, and still have not got it adjusted back yet. The sea clone I cleaned, hooked it back up, and it was good to go.

For what ever its worth...I've been running a CPR BacPac 2r for close to 2 years now...I've had two problems with it and each time CPR was available to correct the problem. First time was when the "o"ring broke(they sent a free replacement within 2 days).Second time was when it simply quit making bubbles...they responded to a e-mail asking for information on solutions to the problem within 24 hours and provided information to immediately correct the problem. So in my opinion the customer service after sale is excellant...plus it continues to perform as designed. Just yesterday I emptied the collection cup on the skimmer and it is back to skimming my 58 gal fish only system. For what I spent it has been a good lil skimmer.
