Which snail does the best job at cleaning/removing green film glass algae? I have alot of it on my glass (clean it daily) and want it spotless

IMO Astrea Snails are da Bomb for film algae on your tank glass. But you will still need to do some house keeping.

It is just my preference. I go with an all snail clean-up-crew, I don't like my cleaners killing my other cleaners, seems counter-productive to me hence the reason I don't have any crabs in my tank

keeping lots of differant sized shells in your tank will help keep the hermits off the snails.
